The Glorious day is here!!!

HURRAY! HALLELUJAH!! THE GLORIOUS DAY OF REJOICING IS HERE!!!

I've been redeemed! I've been set free! I've surrendered it all! I've returned!! The rain has stopped! I'm no longer alone! I'm home, back to my beloved's side! I'm back to my Father's arms, for good! I HAVE OVERCOMED!!!!

yeah!

back from Ignyte SURGE camp! God has spoken. God has redeemed me. I've FINALLY let go and get a grip on God. The chains have been broken. I've stopped struggling. I've stopped trying by myself. I'm letting God take over. I've been pulled out of the quicksand that used to threatened to eat me up whole. I'm filled with joy. I'm filled with blessed assurance. I'm filled with a renewed passsion, commitment, and determination to get out of the old ways, and be faithful to the Lord, my God, and to persevere even through challenges or mundanity, never letting go.

Today is the day that the Lord has made, and I will rejoice and be glad in it! God has never gave me up. God was always waiting for me. God has long forgiven me, even before i came back to Him.

Today is the day
I'm casting my cares aside
I'm leaving my past behind
I'm setting my heart and mind on You
Jesus

I'm reaching my hand to Yours
Believing there's so much more

Knowing that all You have in store for me is good
Is good

Today is the day You have made
I will rejoice and be glad in it
Today is the day You have made
I will rejoice and be glad in it

And I won't worry about tomorrow
I'm trusting in what You say
Today is the day.

Today is the day.

I'm putting my fears aside
I'm leaving my doubts behind
I'm giving my hopes and dreams to You
Jesus

I'm reaching my hand to Yours
Believing there's so much more
Knowing that all You have in store for me is good
Is good

Today is the day You have made
I will rejoice and be glad in it
Today is the day You have made
I will rejoice and be glad in it

And I won't worry about tomorrow
I'm trusting in what You say
Today is the day.

Today is the day.

I will stand upon Your truth.
(I will stand upon Your truth)
And all my days I'll live for You
(And all my days I'll live for You)

Today is the day You have made
I will rejoice and be glad in it
Today is the day You have made
I will rejoice and be glad in it
And I won't worry about tomorroww
I'm giving you my fears and sorrows
Where you lead me I will follow
I'm trusting in what you say
Today is the day
Today is the day

There stood a child, weighed down by the numerous heavy chains on her back, all around her, so heavy that she is struggling under them. She could hardly move, under all those weight. She's so tired, so exhausted, but she can't break free. Then came the sword. Her Father used His powerful sword and were slashing at the chains on her. Chains broke, one after the other. The chain of sorrow, the chain of guilt, the chain of shame, the chain of fear, the chain of doubt, the chain of the devil's lies, the chain of despair, the chains of various sins, the chain of loneliness, the chain of uselessness, the chain of 'nobody', and more... The chains were all broken. But she stood there, still hunched, still bend low, for the weight of the chains have been there for so long that she simply had no strength to stand up straight and face her Father. But the Father loved her too much to just leave her there. He bend down, took her in His arms and carried her. In His embrace, she was strengthened. She was set free! She is now back into her Father's arms of love.

Connected!

Opened my heart today during service. I refused to listen to the lies of the devil. I refused to evaluate my actions and my heart, whether this is just gonna be a one-time feeling, 'commitment'; whether it's just lip-service, blah blah. I just sang. I just worshipped, open my heart and just be frank to God.

Indeed, in God, there is freedom. Freedom from bondages, freedom from guilt, freedom from shame, freedom from sin, freedom from life's burdens... true freedom that no one else can ever offer, as no one else has it. I'm gonna start searching and pursuing this freedom. I shall not wait and wait in the chains that I have. I shall seek the key to my freedom - Jesus!

I'm gonna start searching the Lord, and I'm gonna find Him. becoz i know He's there waiting for me just to return home, to return to his side. I cant do this alone. I will need God's help, and i'm gonna start learning how to surrender to him instead of rather trusting myself and try to handle situations by myself, which leads me to the valley which i'm in right now. i shall stop struggling in the quicksand, and let my Lord pull me out.

That is more or less what spoke to me during praise and worship.

And by God's beautiful timing, today's message was about CONNECTED aka the Family of God. I feel (i think) God reminding me that I have been trying to be quite a solo christian, not on the surface, but deep down, refusing to share with people, refusing to really open up, even when i'm in desperate need of help; even when i wanted to, i held back.

Moreover, the family of God IS IMPORTANT!! and i know that personally myself, experiencing such a strong reminder just these 3-4 days. A bro and a sis especially have been helping me so much. I'm real thankful for that. i was allowing myself to drift way off, giving in to the fears, doubts, the enemy's lies... but God used them to give me reminders, to give me small wake up calls, to encourage me, to hang on to me so that i will not keep drifting. They held on. They prayed. I know there are other people, like my mom, praying for me too. They helped. They held. Becoz whatever is going on in the spiritual world, also happens down here.

Also, i'm feeling a slight tugging, actually it's more like a thought (which i'm thinking maybe it's God's gentle calling), to go back to the ministry, to go back and serve. No, not the SP status calling, but into the ministry, back to SOF, where although i have physically left since june/july, my heart has never left there, and i've always been looking out for my SOF pple, and often feeling proud of them. Maybe, it's time to go back. But i shall not rush this... my life's not back in place yet, and not even halfway there. there's still issues to settle, issues of which i have not yet meditate and dig it out, issues which i have not yet taken time to do uncover, due to fear. xp

but probably by next year... bros and sis reading this, keep praying for me. it WILL NOT be an easy road.

Every time i edging slowly back, a few days later, the enemy manage to get me to fall even lower than before, causing me to be disheartened, and i pray this will not end up such a case again. This is spiritual warfare, and if ever i need the help of my fellow comrades, it is now! It is this season of time.

happened to randomly come across this song, and was listening to it while i'm typing this post. and it SO HAPPENED to fit this season i'm currently in. http://www.verticalmusic.com/audio/05%20Living%20Rain.mp3

it's time to intercede!!

i'm pulled back to reality.. besides just knowing, which i've known and has been reminded, since that time i prayed at bishan with ed. Now, the conviction is stronger, to do more, to be serious, to be committed..

It's time to intercede.

There's a need to pray. There's a desperate need to intercede.

People out there are being attacked, be it physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually; through relationships/friendships/family; people are feeling torned, desperate, broken, fear... the devil is at work...

IT'S TIME FOR WAR!!!!

to touch my loved ones, my family, my friends, my peers, even if it's friends i've just made this year..

Satan, you've pushed it.

I'm warring, on God's side, against you satan, for my friends, for my loved ones.

THIS IS WAR!!

Lord, grant me the strength, grant me the wisdom and let your Spirit guide me in praying for them, in interceding for them. i sense and see the hurt, the despair, the struggles behind those smiles. Lord, i may not be able to see and understand what they're going through... but you know. Pick them up and embrace them. Protect them. Grant them wisdom, peace. Lord, you know i love them, and they are people who are close to my heart. And Lord, i know that you love them, much much more than i do. Show them your love. Help them to be comforted in your presence. Grant me perseverance to keep interceding, to be committed and not let the prayers fade off with time. Grant me your strength to intercede even when i have to deal with unsettled matters between me and you, especially when there seems to be a high tendency of me going into numbing mode for fear of confrontation, that is so needed and necessary. I commit my friends whom i care so much for, and you care even much more for, into your hands. In Jesus name i pray, amen.

Rain rain go away..

Wheee..... promos are over!!!! haha.. and today's Children's day!! poor primary school kids. they must have feel cheated of their holiday since children's day clashes with hari raya puasa. haha.. too bad for them. XD

well, wanna talk about the 2 songs i put on sunday. went for service on sunday. dint expect anything. just another service that'll pass. but I guess God's really working at my heart once again, esp since i then was going to have no more excuses left of procrastinating my confrontation with myself and God, which i promised to do after promos, and soul-searching. XP

it's been some time since i really gone down to the altars, to praise and worship God, with the joy that birthed from within. hmmm.. maybe for more than 1.5 yr?? But somehow, my spirit inside me that day couldnt help jumping and praising God. I feel just so reconnected back to God again. =)
even when we went to more intense worship, i could feel God working at my heart. the cold stone heart, of which has closed many doors, to God and to others..

those 2 songs i posted, 'To Know Your Name' and 'Come Holy Spirit' really just spoke to me. the words were jumping out at me, as i sang this two familiar songs, esp the words, of which i coloured them yellow in my posts. Indeed, this stubborn girl who has by her pride ran away from her Father, and let her pride and stubborness stopped her from returning to the Father's love and embrace.. but rather eat pig pods, is starting to remember her identity in her Father, that as she explores and search for her identity, she's slowly returning home, where she'll feel whole again.

well, had a good day on mon, whacking after my last paper, 2hrs. then 2 pals came over to my house.. had fun! Let me paint the pic.. hmm... one playing Nintendo DS on the host's bed, another playing neopets on the host's laptop, and the host.. lying on the floor, staring at the ceiling, in an air-conditioned room. haha.

play, play, eat, eat, nap... ZZZZZzzzz....

and played with meow frens below... even got to see a kitten suckling its mom.

well, spend the whole of ytd composing a melody for my 'bro's' song lyrics.. 'Keeps Raining Without You'. wasnt easy.. but well, i'm starting to really fall in love with tat song! XD

okay, if i got the courage, i'll put it here one day... one day... XP dun like my recorded voice.. very paiseh. haha. and when i wanted to re-record today, just as i was about to reach the last chorus.. SNAP!! went my guitar string. X( oh wells.

haha, spend most of today packing for friday's vietnam trip. sorry to pangseh my friends who are still taking exams.. but i need tat break away from spore instead of rotting away at home.. and hopefully, i'll be able to do more soul-searching there.. yups. praying and hoping that the rainy season will be over soon.. for it keeps raining without Him.

Keeps Raining Without You
Lyrics by Fabian

Sometimes I feel like I just wanna give up,
Throw in the towel, end it all,
In this big-big world, I feel just so small,
Can you help me just not to fall?

There's just this empty hole in my bleeding heart,
Yearning for you ever since we were apart.
Tried many times to deny it but I realised it's true,
It keeps raining without you.

I thought that you were too tough to bother,
You didn't even seem to care,
In this big-big world, you are everywhere,
But can you let me just know you are there?

Cause..

There's just this empty hole in my bleeding heart,
Yearning for you ever since we were apart.
Tried many times to deny it but I realised it's true,
It keeps raining without you.
[repeat]

Bridge: (God says...)
I was there, even though I wasn't there for you to see,
I was there, just wanted you to know I cared for thee,
Now I'll fill this hole in your bleeding heart,
From my presence you'll never depart,
I promise I will...
Only if you’ll let me...

There was this empty hole in my bleeding heart,
Yearning for you ever since we were apart.
Tried many times to deny it but I know now it's true,
It kept raining without you.

GOD HAS BEEN GREAT!!

yeah!!! just one more paper left!!

anyways, here to share what has been happening this week! XD

Indeed God has totally GREAT!!!!

I was getting stress and worried about this week's promos, of which i have exams every day, because i have not yet finished preparations, rather, far from finishing preparations. and i really really did not want to be retained.

initially, i was thinking, if i'm not ready to face the As next year, i rather retain and be more fully prepared. but i realised that i'm not actually ready to go through all the transitions & emotional journey, not being able to promote with my peers&my class (of whom i will dearly miss) and having to start anew in a new class after taking so long to settle and find some sort of bearings in 0836. so i was telling God, i rather not retain.

well, here's a testimony to God's greatness.

Indeed, i was real stressed, since last week, a couple of sudden stress attacks too, though i may seem to hide it all down real well. if i'm to show it, then i'm letting it develop, cant do that.
Well, praise God for his promise, and a particular verse that helped me through my even more stressful Os last year:
"Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God; and the peace of God which transcends all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus." ~Philippians 4:5-6~

yups. Indeed, i told God, "Lord, you know the amount of preparation i did. i could have done better if i've disciplined myself even earlier. But i commit my promos unto your hands. I will do my best with whatever time i have left, and ask for your mercy, grace, strength and favour to be upon me too. even if it's your plan for me not to pass this promos, at least Lord, grant me your peace and strength to survive this promos."

and guess what? He did. His peace was definitely with me. As well as His strength, grace, and mercy. Every time i felt like i'm gonna panic, i tell myself to calm down and i recall the verse.

okay,
Monday - GP: peace & help from God. cld finish my papers, even the AQ(though i dun think i really wrote well, haha) and summary. phew. and able to sort of come out with some examples for essay. =D

Tuesday - Maths: praise GOd!! got time to attempt all questions, and a little time left to think through those questions which i skipped coz cldnt solve... and very very happy!! guess what? i counted.. of the qns i not sure/dunno how to solve/have doubts of my answers... it accounts to... 38MARKS OUT OF 100!!!!!!!! That means, if no careless mistakes, and all things go well, i may get 60marks!!! XD yeah!!! (though highly unlikely) but anyway, that means i have a HIGH CHANCE OF PASSING!!! =D esp since my maths was my worst subject in mid-yrs, and have always more or less been failing all my maths tests... really struggled with maths this year.

Wednesday - History: not very prepared, but thank God went through finish SEA history, though dint have time to memorise anything. but was able to FINISH 4 ESSAYS IN 3 HOURS!!!! yeah. and was able to some out with points for the essays. yeah! praise God.

Thursday - Economics: dint really have time to complete essays but at least attempted all. =) better than midyears, where i spent slightly more than an hour doing part (a) of that 1 essay qn, and completly dint touch part (b). teacher couldnt believe it, and neither could my friends. XP and though i was falling asleep during case studies, dunno what i was writing, but thank God i managed to complete the paper. phew!

Friday - Chinese: okay, the paper was very difficult. the more i think of it, the more i have to admit that it was difficult. initially, i do dun really think, still dint realise that actually it was quite difficult. haha. thank God i completed the papers, nearly dint. phew.

oh well, papers are done, and gotten over with, resting in the hands of God now. Left one more paper to go... physics...
really really thankful to God for all He has done. i really had NO CONFIDENCE in ANY of the PAPERS. He really saw me through it though.

i rmb in the midst of maths paper, i stopped when i realised i keep having to skip questions, i recall this verse, and dialled God's hotline - 333:
"Call to me and I will answer you, and tell you great and unsearchable things that you do not know." ~ Jeremiah 33:3 ~

yups, so ALL GLORY TO GOD FOR HIS GREATNESS, HIS FAITHFULNESS, HIS MERCY, HIS GRACE, HIS STRENGTH, AND MOST IMPORTANTLY HIS PEACE THAT HELPED ME SURVIVE THIS WEEK!!! HALLELUJAH!!! =D

The Touch of the Master's Hand

Well, it was battered and scarred
And the auctioneer felt
It was hardly worth his while
To waste much time on the old violin
But he held it up with a smile
Well it sure ain't much
But it's all we got left
I guess we ought to sell it too
Oh, Now who'll start the bid on this old violin
Just one more and we'll be through

And then he cried
One, give me one dollar
Who'll make it two
Only two dollars
Who'll make it three
Three dollars twice
Now that's a good price
But who's got a bid for me
Raise up your hand now
Don't wait any longer
The auction's about to end
Who's got four
Just one dollar more
To bid on this old violin

Well the air was hot
And the people stood around
As the sun was setting low
From the back of the crowd a gray-haired man
Came forward, picked up the bow
He wiped the dust from the old violin
Then he tightened up the strings
Then he played out a melody pure and sweet
Sweeter than the angels sing

And then the music stopped
And the auctioneer with a voice that was quiet and low
He said
What am I bid for this old violin
Then he held it up with a bow

(Chorus)
Then he cried out
One, give me one thousand
Who'll make it two
Only two thousand
Who'll make it three
Three thousand twice
You know, that's a good price
Come on, who's got a bid for me
The people cried out
What made the change
We don't understand
Then the auctioneer stopped
And he said with a smile
It was the touch of the master's hand

Now you know
Many a man with a life out of tune
Is battered and scarred with sin
And he's auctioned cheap to a thankless world
Much like that old violin
Then the master comes and that foolish crowd
They never understand
The worth of a soul
And the change that is wrought
Just by one touch of the Master's hand

(Chorus)

Update of my life this week

This week, busy and interesting to say the least.

Sunday:
really thank God how things work out for the best. Indeed, i've really learnt and experience how "God's ways are greater than our ways". His plan was so perfect in reaching out to a long lost son of his, a brother of mine, and getting him immediately connected still amazes me.

Monday:
sianz. oh ya, got maths lecture test which i actually dint really prepare for it. and wasted 15mins on the very very 1st question, part (a) somemore, because somehow my mind keep telling me that 3 X 2 = 5!!! so whole of qn 1 skipped. thank God managed to discover my mistake the last 10min, and save me 6marks i think. And finally!!!! passed my maths test!!!!!!! =D thanks to God's grace and the whole of last week sep hols where all i did was maths, vectors, and more maths & vectors. XP

tuesday:
parent's wedding anniversary. mom got me to surprise my dad with family dinner at Pizza Hut, when i actually just supposed to have a one-to-one sharing over dinner session. haha. but the smart cop of my dad linked and figured all out as he fetched me fr school to dinner. Thank God for the great time of fellowship & great enjoyment of scrump-licious (scrumptious+delicious) dinner together as a family.

wednesday:
struggled with deciding whether to keep to my principle and way of learning - not to copy, but to learn; better facing up to the consequences of my action than to copy; to learn and understand if i'm to 'copy'/refer... VS ... copying blindly from teacher's outline to finish 10 essays (5 essay questions) and 5 case study questions, to get that stupid 5% free marks for Econs. i really struggled. and it's only after what a trusted adult friend of mine gave his opinion, that i decided to become a copy machine.

thursday:
afternoon lessons all canceled; lessons over at 12.30pm. last min plan: went down hougang to play 2hr badminton with bliss and nicholas (to make up for missing PE... XD ) and do econs over at bliss place. 3 copy machinese were birthed! poor right hand nearly died from playing a actually not-as-hectic 2hr badminton game with a heavy racket than i'm used to playing with + copying 5 case studies and 2 essays! haha. though had a great time of copying and fellowship at bliss place.

friday:
wrote something on my hand during 1st lecture (maths)... { 5hours sleep for 48 hours + 4 essays&5case studies in 24hours = NO LIFE! } *thanks to Econs...*
really thank God for the fellowship, sharing and praying + yummy dinner at Ajisen with a dear sister of mine. Thank You Lord! And sis, really appreciate taking the initiative to ask me to pray with you every friday. it feels great to share, as well as to pray with someone for people i loved so dearly, as well as to be encouraged by someone who's praying for ya.

saturday:
like i told zen about today... "today is very ahem.. academically-unproductive". haha. slept in till slightly past 12am, ate lunched and talked about vietnam trip with dad, did 1hr tuition hw, then took a *ahem* 5min nap (that became 1.5hrs long) and woke for dinner, then slack in front of tv, then lappie. yups. today, the very academically-unproductive day. BUT, it was very rest-productive, catching-up-with-pple-productive, and relax-productive!! XD
So, like what zen said, overall day not wasted (in every intangible thing, yes).
oh. and today is blogging-productive too.

Lean On Me

I like this, which was shared to me today, via email,

"sometimes, we just need:
someone to listen, someone to hug, someone to lend a shoulder, someone to be there, someone to say nothing at all, someone to subtly pull you out of that deep dark hole, someone to lean on...
but sometimes, humans aren't always there because our strength alone is insufficient to overcome worldly pressures we ourselves struggle with. earthly friends will come and go, even the closest to your hearts cant always be there. but there's one who'll never let you down... and i think this poem says it all."

Lean On Me
(Author Unknown)

As the road ahead seems rugged
and the path is getting steep,
I feel that I can't make it
so my heart begins to weep.

Then I turn to see who's coming
to join me on my way.
I see it is my Lord
and He slowly turns to say,

"Lean on me.....
when you have no strength to stand.
When you feel you're going under,
hold tighter to my hand.

Lean on me......
when your heart begins to bleed.
When you know I'm all you have,
then you'll find I'm all you need."

Then when I felt that no one cared
if I lived or died,
and no one bothered asking why
I'd go alone to cry.

When the burden got so heavy
I could barely face the day,
I felt His arms around me
as I gently heard Him say,

"Lean on me......
when you have no strength to stand.
When you feel you're going under,
hold tighter to my hand.

Lean on me......
when your heart begins to bleed.
When you come to know I'm all you have,
then you'll find I'm all you need."

Back to Basics

Ask for the old paths, where the good way is, and walk in it; then you will find rest for your souls.
~ Jeremiah 6:16~

Many do not know, but i have been struggling through life in the past months, since last year. I've drifted from God, pushing Him away from me, not letting Him lead and guide my life, not giving Him any longer the reins of my life. My mind started thinking, questioning... questioning not God, but myself, my motives, my actions, my behaviour... And life has really been difficult without God.

I wanted help, but maybe not really, for i dint allowed anyone to help me, blocking off what people say with my own reasonings and excuses. I let myself drift, i let myself sink deeper in this quicksand where the more i struggled, the deeper and more stuck i got. i hated this, but yet, i guess on my own part, though my mouth says i badly want to get back to God and be by His side again, i was not doing anything. i said i wanted, but i dint really tried i guess.

i'm thankful for sis gwen who spoke to me 2 weeks ago on thurs, 24April, for God to get someone to speak to me, someone my heart has yet to block, someone whom i will listen and heed her word more. She dint know that every time she called my name, my name itself, something in my heart jumped. i dunno why. as we conversed, she called my name a couple of times, and everytime she called my name as she spoke words of sincerity, words of advise, serious words, concerned words, there's a tugging in my heart, as if the inner me that has been sleeping all these while, that had grown numb, was waking up.

i guess people around me seldom call my name many times. nicks like ah ma/ahma de ahma/king/huangsan/rach have become so common, that when addressing me by my name itself, it maybe sort of reminded me of who i am, who i was before letting all these changes/circumstances turn my life so differently that i've yet to figure out who i am, yet alone let people discover and know who i am.

No. do not get me wrong, i've nothing against people using those nicks to address me. rather, i kind of enjoyed it. i find that when people call you by a nick, it's like we share a closer relationship/friendship. that's why you call me by a name that shows our close relationship, like my juniors and good frens in sec sch call me ah ma/ahma de ahma. (with the exceptions of sacarstic/'unfriendly'/unkind nicks that pple give to you) that's why i nearly never call anyone by 'shortcuts'/nicks unless i'm really close to them.

Anyway, geez. i'm really getting real out of the focus of this post. XP
2 Takeaways from the meet-up with Sis G:
- dont dwell on the negative thoughts you have on yourself
-BACK TO BASICS

that's what i want to blog about today.
BACK TO BASICS.

actually, before she mentioned this, it actually crossed my mind. BACK TO BASICS!
back to my simple faith, so sweet, simple and pure... before i made it 'complicated' and there came so many links that i totally lost focus on God. back to being his innocent and naive child, before i was chosen to be an SP, before i became an SP, maybe even before i started serving Him 'officially' in a ministry, before i got more involved in my church. Where my relationship with God, was just Him and me, and me having His heart for the people around me. Where i was contend with receiving whatever He gave me, asking just a little more from Him, unlike now where i'm so focused on wanting to receive from Him, that my focus shifted from Him, to a self-centred me.

Back to Basics was what Sis G told me she felt God wanted her to tell me this as she was travelling to meet me, still unclear of what was really happening in my life. Seriously, it MUST HAVE BEEN God who led her to me. for..
1. i wasnt close to her at all and am surprise she even like know me and missed me
2. the day she missed me/ask my sis where i was... it so happened i was visiting Clari. church. she was shocked i was church visiting (though so far i've visited other churches and skipped my own church service for 3times only, happen to once a month). and i was there past 3 weeks before i went that wkend to visit Clar. church

Back to Basics. It's hard to explain, but it's easy to understand. Back to Basics. that's what i really wanted to try doing when she told me that. but yet again, i've failed to try, being so caught up with myself, my 'busyness', my struggle to keep up with school work, managing my time, and being troubled by my relations with others. being so self-centred again, i've pushed God away, asking Him to yet again, wait. sigh...

Sis G smsed me on 7May: "how have u been doing? Still feeling lost or stagnanted?"
i replied her: "Still lost, stagnanted, tired out. To be honest, i haven done anything since we spoke. sorry. i know i need to face God again, but i'm just sort of unwilling to do anything. i know i can get out of this, but i'm like just not doing anything, being so caught up with the busyness of my life, struggling to cope with JC life. sigh."
maybe some people can identify with me...

Well, the devil has been winning this battle round after round (becoz i allowed him to win)... and he has succeeded in stoppping me from having my quiet time with God everyday, which i was steadily doing from the beginning of the year, though i was already struggling in my walk, till the end of March, where once i stopped, it's hard to pick up. i had my quiet time again with God last sunday, which i relished it. Today, i spent time with God again. And this verse in My Daily Bread spoke to me.

Ask for the old paths, where the good way is, and walk in it; then you will find rest for your souls.
~ Jeremiah 6:16~

It was a reminder... Back to Basics... the good old paths, the ones i trod when i was a young Christian, firm and simple in my faith, such simple faith that brought much joy. It's not that i dont question, i did, but at least my focus was right. it's not folly faith, but simple faith.
May i walk in the old paths of truth so that i would find peace and rest for my soul. That the old ways will help to ensure new beginnings in my life.
